Introducing Hays contemporary Pao series designed by the prolific Japanese industrial designer, Naoto Fukasawa. Named after the traditional Mongolian Pao tents, reminiscent of their sloped shape and the warm inviting community they accommodate.

Pao draws on Fukasawa’s aesthetic of elegant simplicity; creating an everyday object that draws on design values existing in the natural world. By keeping the aesthetics modest and simple, he brings the design into harmony with its environment.

The lamp’s light source is concealed inside the shade, providing an efficient diffused downlight, encapsulating the cosy glow of a Pao tent. It's compact, battery-operated design affords flexibility for both indoor and outdoor use. The lamp is available in different colour options.
